CRIMINAL SESSION[]

CHINAMAN ASSAULTED[]

After The Post went to press yesterday the jury returned in the cases against Vincent Furniss and George Patrick McNamara, charged with having assaulted a Chinaman, Charlie Yung Sing, and caused him grievous bodily harm. The jury found both prisoners guilty of common assault, and expressed the opinion that McNamara was the least culpable. The prisoners will be sentenced tomorrow morning.
